Palace Theater Rules
The Palace Theatre in the Dells wants every guest to have a safe and unforgettable experience during their visit. To help make sure that everyone has a great time, they have outlined a set of guidelines and rules listed below. Please review and follow the rules and policies below as failure to abide by them may result in expulsion from the venue without refund.

Accessibility Policy
The Palace Theatre in the Dells is proud of its ADA adherent guidelines and accommodations. Besides offering wheelchair and accessible seating throughout the venue, the building is also fully accessible including restrooms. If you require any special accommodations, please contact the venue at 608-253-4000 for help.
Arrival Policy
For certain events, arriving late may result in guests being asked to wait in the lobby until a designated break period. To avoid frustration, The Palace Theatre in the Dells recommends that you arrive no later than 45 minutes before a ticketed event to make sure you have plenty of time to find parking and get to your seat.
Bag Policy
Large bags are not allowed in the venue. Smaller bags may be subject to inspection by event staff and security. Guests may refuse searches and event staff reserves the right to refuse entry.
Camera Policy
The venue allows photographs of the lobby area. Cameras are not allowed at the stage or show space.
Cancellation Policy
The Palace Theatre in the Dells keeps the show going despite exterior weather. In the case of a cancellation due to artist cancellation, the venue will make announcements as soon as possible. If your ticketed event is canceled, please call 608-253-4000. to ask about rescheduling or ticket refund procedures and policies.
Children Policy
Unless otherwise noted, most performances are recommended for ages 2 and up. This is due more to lighting changes that may upset younger children. If a child is disruptive during an event, they and their accompanying parent or guardian may be asked to wait in the lobby. There are many hotels and venues nearby that offer child care services if you want to avoid the risk of frustration.
All guests require a ticket regardless of age.
Clothing Policy
Business casual attire is recommended for the venue.
Dining & Show Policy
The venue enhances the show with their full-service dining experiences. But no-meal tickets may be requested. We have provided a list of nearby dining options if you would prefer dining outside of the venue.
Lost and Found Policy
Lost an item at an event? You can ask event staff for help with finding the lost and found service. You can also call 608-253-4000. after the performance. Please be prepared to leave your full name, contact information, and a detailed description of your lost item. The Palace Theatre in the Dells does not claim responsibility for your lost possessions.
Parking Policy
Parking at the venue is free.
Prohibited Items
The Palace Theatre in the Dells restricts certain items to keep guests and event staff safe. Please refer to the list below for details. All bags and guests are subject to visual inspections and any prohibited items may be disposed of or returned to guest vehicles. To avoid frustration, please refer to the list below.
- Alcoholic or other Beverages unless purchased from the bar
- Artificial Noise Makers
- Audio or Video Recording equipment
- Cameras (camera policies vary on an event by event basis)
- Bags (larger than 10”x 8”x 8”)
- Cans, Glass or Metal containers
- Fireworks or any Explosive
- Food and Beverage not purchased from the bar
- Illegal Drugs
- Knives of any size
- Laser Pointers
- Masks
- Promotional items with commercial identification
- Tape Recorders
- Large golf or non-telescopic umbrellas
- Weapons of any description, including firearms
- Signs, banners, flags or any other items that would either obstruct the view of a patron or serve as a dangerous projectile or security risk.
- Other items that in the judgment of The Palace Theatre in Dell’s management pose a safety risk or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons.
Seating Policy
If you have not ordered every seat at a table, other guests may purchase those seats for their use. If you do not wish to dine or enjoy the show with other patrons, please be sure to order enough seats for an entire table.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is not allowed at the venue. Please contact the event staff to be guided to exterior smoking areas.
